Jammu, Dec 25: To celebrate the 96th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee & to promote the traditional culture of J&K, the artists of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan paid floral tribute to Vajpayee. The programme was organized in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production & JK Bhoomi Human Welfare Society. They presented 41st Friday musical concert series “Geet naya Gata Hun” during quarantine time at Rehearsal Hall, Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu. The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Among the Guest of Honors present were J.K.Raina, Free Lancer - Producer Director Films, J.K. Koul, Free Lancer writer, producer director and Chief Patron of JK Bhoomi Welfare Society, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. Welcome speech was given by M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan who highlighted the concert and explained in detail about Vajpayee and his contribution to the country as well as other fields. The singers, musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who participated in the musical concert were Usha Handoo, K.K.Joshi, M.C.Kotwal, Rajni Gupta,Raju Bajgal, Kamla Devi, Bindia Arora, Sanjeev kumar Sodhi, Chahat Chadha, Jetinder Jotshi, Vijay Raina, Daizy Bazaz, Susheel Bhat , Vinay Pandita,Ramesh Pandita,Rahul Pandita, Anmol Raj, Kamal Sagar and many others presented enthralled performances. At last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program. |
