| Army organised carrier counselling for unemployed youths | | |

Kishtwar, Dec 25: Indian Army has always motivated the youth of the region by its undertaking various activities aimed at skill development and employment generate.
One such activity was conducted at Thatri and Kishtwar wherein the Indian Army in collaboration DDU-GKY Programme (Himayat) organized a career counseling session for the youth of the region on 24 Dec 2020.
The course curriculum is aimed at training the candidates for Domestic Customer Relation Management, Basic Computer Course & English Speaking and Soft Skill. A total of 92 candidates including 23 girls participated in the counseling session. A screening of desirous candidates were carried out by DDU-GKY team. Short listed candidates will undergo professional training for five months at Kathua followed by assured placement on successful completion of training.
This initiative by Army will go a long way into motivate the youth of the region and transforming them into responsible citizen of the nation. |
