JAMMU, Jan 27: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBA) strongly condemned the incidents of hooliganism in Delhi on Republic Day leading to showing disrespect to the National Flag in Red Fort. In a statement issued here today, JKHCBSA said that it is unprecedented and unacceptable in democratic set up like India which is taken as an example of stable democracy throughout the World. Yesterday’s happenings depict a concerted effort to defame the Nation and National symbols in the eyes of the world community for vested interests. Presidium of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association calls upon the government to take strong action against the persons involved in the incident and also probe the involvement of the enemies of the nation sitting inside as also outside in the whole incident. Nobody who is involved in the incident should be spared. Peaceful demonstration is soul of democracy but the mob crossed the limits when it became unruly and indulged in arson, violence and insulting the National symbol and that too when the whole country was celebrating birth of Constitution in the largest democracy of the world. Presidium of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association further said that while all issues should be decided by consultations and mutual discussions but there is no room for violence and nobody should think that it can force its view points by use of violence. |
