‘Weak’ leadership failed take action against Azad loyalists
1/27/2021 11:26:12 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 27: Unconcerned about repeated warnings given by the party leadership, loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad are not ready to participate in the official programmes organized by the party.
Reliable sources told the Early Times after boycotting the ‘crucial’ meeting convened by AICC incharge of J&K Affairs, Rajni Patil, Azad loyalists were very much aware that action will be taken against them but they are least concerned. Wishing anonymity, a loyalist of Azad, told the Early Times that the incumbent leadership of J&K Congress lacked guts to take action against them. “Present leadership is weak enough to initiate any action against loyalists of Azad”, the leaders said and added that in the coming days this faction will boycott all functions to be organized by incumbent leadership in future.
Annoyed over pick and choose policy adopted by present leadership in sending invitation during the first visit of AICC J&K incharge Rajni Patil, loyalists of Azad have started boycotting all official functions as a mark to protest. Azad loyalists are demanding that they should be given separate time to hold interaction with Patil.
As reported earlier, during the visit of Rajni Patil in the first week of this month, Azad loyalists had boycotted her meeting following which some leaders demanded action against them.
Patil had asked J&K Congress chief G A Mir to seek clarification from these leaders for boycotting the meeting but no action has been taken due to incompetence of the incumbent leadership.
