Early Times Report

Poonch, Feb 3: The Incharge Headmaster of the Government Girls Middle School (GGMS) Sakhi Maidan has allegedly tampered the date of birth of a girl student under the influence of the mother of a student.
The father of girl child, Mohammad Aslam Khan accused the administration of GGMS Sakhi Maidan as well as his estranged wife of tempering DoB for their vested interest. Talking to Early Times the father said that due to some matrimonial dispute and subsequent separation, his daughter has been putting up with her mother for the last few years.
He further said that the actual date of birth of his daughter Aleeza Khan is 20-10-2010, which is clearly evident from the certificates issued by the school authorities. “With some malafide intention and in order to get some undue benefits, the mother of the child got the date of birth of my daughter changed fraudulently as 20-4-2009 after getting admission record tampered by In-charge Headmaster Government Girls Middle School Sakhi Maidan namely Shaista Anjum who is the real sister of Samina Azad,” he alleged.
He said that as per record his daughter was admitted to Government Primary School Sakhi Maidan on 13-4-2014 in Ist Primary i.e. during the session 2014-15 but in the next session i.e 2015-16 she was retained in the same class i.e. Ist Primary without any justifiable reason which is a great loss to the career of my daughter. “No publication in any newspaper was made and no legal procedure was adopted regarding change of date of birth of Aleeza Khan,” he said.
He informed that date of birth on the school leaving certificate issued by the in-charge Headmaster GGMS Sakhi Maidan is written as 20-10-2010 but after a lapse of a period of nine months it was cancelled on 29-7-2017 and prior to its cancellation new school leaving certificate was issued on 30-8-2017 on the pretext of clerical mistake by the first teacher on the school leaving certificate issued on 1-10-2016. But she totally denied any such mistake, when contacted telephonically.
“My daughter was admitted to Public Higher Secondary School Mendhar in 2nd class on 4-10-2016 when the admission session was closed,” he added. He also criticized the concerned office of Chief Education Officer Poonch for not taking prompt action against the in-charge Headmaster GGMS Sakhi Maidan.
When Early Times contacted the CEO Poonch, in this connection, he didn’t pay heed to the issue and denied to give his comment on it.
