Besides, Abdul Rashid Khan Sarpanch Ajas-E, a delegation from different parts of district Bandipora comprising of political workers Mumtaz Ahmad, Muhammad Maqbool Rather, Habibullah Rather, Naseer Ahmad Mir, Mumtaz Ahmad Rather, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Muhammad Lone and Showkat Ahmad Rather, Tariq Ahmad Hajam, Naseer Ahmad Mir and Fayaz Ahmad Rather joined Apni Party.
Political activists who joined the party from Pulwama, Ganderbal and Shopian included Javaid Ahmad Javaid, Mohammad Abbas Kohli, Noor Hussain Kohli, Mohammad Shafi Gojri, Mohammad Yaseen Teli and Mukhtar Ahmad Mir.
Apni Party president Bukhari welcomed the new entrants saying that Apni Party is committed to work for an equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir and would take all measures to ensure the welfare of people.
“Apni Party has always shown perseverance in voicing the concerns that matter most to the common people. People's trust in Apni Party and the confidence that got reflected in the recent DDC elections is a proof signifying that people of J&K are emancipated and can judge the political parties on merit. We abstain from the malevolent hollow sloganeering and absurd claims on social media. People have reposed their faith in us and I am sure they will continue to do so on the basis of our performance on ground rather than the number of tweets per hour,” Bukhari observed.
