KISHTWAR, Feb 8: s a part of ongoing Road Safety Month 2021, a Road safety awareness camp for Drivers and Conductors was today organised by team of Motor Vehicle Department (Assistant Road Transport Office) here in collaboration with 188 RCC GREF. Officer in Command, GREF Kishtwar, officials of MVD, Drivers, Conductors, transport unions among others were present on the occasion. During the camp, the participants were advised to get their vehicles checked time and again and follow traffic rules for their own safety and for the safety of others.
Besides, they were also advised to wear seat belts while driving, keep their documents complete and to keep the Pollution-Control Certificate available. They were also told to be patient while driving and not use mobile phones. Further, they were asked to refrain from drunk driving and overloading in the vehicles. Pamphlets on road safety awareness were distributed among the drivers and conductors. |
