Kashmiri migrants demand relief , rehabilitation | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 15: A delegation of Kashmiri Migrants under the banner of KKHMS led by its Chairman/ President Er. Ramesh Chander Mahajan met Simrandeep Singh Special Secretary to Govt (DDMRRC ) Department of Disaster Management Relief, Rehabilitation & reconstruction at Civil Secretariat, Jammu and apprised him long pending genuine burning problem of the Kashmiri Migrants who are reeling under pathetic condition later handover the memorandum for appropriate action which include charter of demands like Enhancement of monthly cash relief assistance with free medical aid, Immediate issuance of Ayushman Bharat (SEHAT ) Golden card and release of monthly pension in favour of old age ,disability and handicapped and widows who had applied for social welfare schemes etc and immediate disbursement of long pending Mediclaim bills from the office of RRMC. Besides , provisions of one job to one family member of each migrants family in PM recruitment process, absorbance of candidate in the pending waiting and court cases list and start recruitment drive in all police forces and creation of additional 35000 Posts in various departments among others.
