Training programmes on "Safety of Women", "Cyber Forensics" commences at SKPA | | | Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: Two training programmes including 5 day-long training programme of Investigators on "Safety of Women" sponsored by BPR&D, New Delhi and course on "Cyber Forensics" commenced at Sher-e- Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur. A total of 33 officers of the rank of ASI to Inspector are attending the courses. The courses were inaugurated by Vinay Kumar, SSP, Asstt Director (Administration) SKPA Udhampur. During the inaugural address, SSP Vinay Kumar welcomed all course participants and laid stress to increase the knowledge of Investigators on "Safety of Women" as well as importance of cyber forensics during the investigations. He further stated that the crime statics shows that there is manifold increase of crimes related to women and cybercrimes. It is the need of hour that Police should be equipped with latest knowledge and procedures to deal with such crimes. All possible efforts have been made to bring best faculty from renowned institutes and police department to deliver lectures and to share their valuable experience. The inauguration of the courses was attended by Suraj Singh, DySP (R&D & Administrative officer), Tahir Hussain, DySP (Admn) and other faculty members of the Academy. |
