Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Mar 1: Continuing with the efforts to reduce hardships of people in far flung areas, a medical camp was organised by Army at Chingam in Kishtwar district in J & K. As per the details available with Early Times, free medical opinion and medicines were given to the people. Local Asha workers also gave their services voluntarily during the camp. COVID-19 kits were also distributed among the people to emphasize on hygiene and sanitation as a habit. 528 people benefitted from the camp. Alongside the camp, a painting competition was held for children with the theme 'Swarnim Vijay Varsh'. Few days ago army with an aim to promote Innovation, Thinking ability and Creativity, a Science Project Competition was organised by Army (11 RR) at Chatroo in Kishtwar district on the eve of National Science Day in which 27 Students from various schools of Kishtwar District participated in the competition and showcase their talent with Vigour and Passion. The winners of the competition were awarded with prizes by Army officials. Similarly army also organized free medical camps, skill development training courses, training cum fitness class for army joining aspirants to help the poor and downtrodden people to get themselves established for earning livelihood for their family. |
