Sources told Early Times that the incumbent tehsildar Sunderbani was sent on deputation for some time but surprisingly nobody was given his charge due to which people have been facing huge hardship to get their work done. Similarly a panchayat in the Tehsil Sunderbani has also gone headless after the transfer of many patwaris were held recently and till date no partwari has been appointed there. The local residents of the panchayat alleged that they are not being issued property certificates, copy of their land records due to absence of patwari in the area. Naib Tehsildar Ajay Singh informed Early Times that he can't issue such documents as he is not authorised to do so. Besides, nobody has been given the charge of tehsildar due to which they are helpless to do public work, he added. "After the transfer of Patwari, nobody has been appointed in his place till date due to which many difficulties are being faced by the common people," they said. The local residents appealed to Lieutenant Governor MK Sinha to intervene into this matter so that grievances of the public might be mitigated. Meanwhile, when Early Times contacted Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vinod Kumar, said that they have taken note of the problem of the public and soon Tehsildar as well as Patwari will be appointed on these places. |
