| Demands justice for deceased need based employee | | Staff of SDH Akhnoor goes on strike | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 8: Demanding justice to the family of the deceased hospital driver, the Doctors and Paramedical staff of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Akhnoor today went on strike and held a massive protest at SDH Akhnoor.
The doctors and paramedical staff employees demanded that the police should apprehend the accused involved in the accident which took the life of Sanjay Kumar, driver (need based) of SDH Akhnoor. Doctors and Staff further demanded administration to give financial assistance to the family of the deceased and also sought a government job for one of his family members. The hospital staff says that Sanjeev Kumar should get justice. Later, they decided to collect Rs 1000 from each staff member to provide immediate financial assistance to Sanjeev Kumar's (Sanju) family.
Meanwhile SDM Akhnoor reached the spot and assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. |
