| Shiv Mandir management committee hold ballot election at Trikuta Nagar | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 9: Shiv Mandir management committee held first transparent ballot election here in Jammu at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu on Sunday.
More than seventy five percent votes have been cast in the election. This was the first election that was held for all the executive posts of the committee.
Shiv Kumar Jolly was elected president by securing 202 votes while Ashok Vaid secured 89 votes.
Urmil Arora elected vice president Sector 5 and Parveen Gupta also elected vice president sector 7. Krishan Kishore Khajuria elected General Secretary of the management committee. Management also announced to hold the election after every two years.
The whole process held smooth and peaceful. People appreciate the role of committee for organizing such election that was held in a democratic way.
The newly formed committee will work for the betterment of the Shiv Mandir and provides the best facilities for the devotees. |
