Ravinder questions silence of authorities on issues of Dharmarth Trust employees | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 15: Chief Spokesperson J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and former MLC Ravinder Sharma has questioned the silence of the authorities to the various genuine issues highlighted by the agitating employees of Dharmarth Trust and sought immediate corrective measures in this regard. Ravinder Sharma has responded to the call of the Dharmarth Trust employees Association who are on the path of agitation for the last over 100 days but the Govt. authorities are silent and mute spectator. The employees Association has been raising some genuine demands as well leveling serious allegations in to the matter which need to be probed in the larger interest of religious sentiments of the people. Unfortunately those who have always reaped the benefits of religion in politics, are silent to the alleged misdeeds highlighted by the employees. A delegation of the agitating employees Association met the Senior Congress leader and highlighted their issues and regretted the silence of the Govt. and the religious, Social and Political organizations to the issues of protection, preservation and promotion of historic temples and shrines in Jammu and Kashmir which are great source of religious attraction and crores of devotees all over country and world. They sought adequate response of all citizens and religious, social and political organizations and individuals in this regard. Sharma felt that time has come to examine and review the entire set up for the larger interests of public property and the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus, to create better facilities for the pilgrims and better service conditions of the employees who are getting very meager wages. The Govt. must look into charges and come out with more vibrant and futuristic set up for the promotion of pilgrimage and glory of historic temples and shrines. |
