Jammu, Mar 15: Before initiating strict action against loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Congress high-command has called Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir to Delhi to devise strategy. Mir is rushed to Delhi to hold interactions with central leaders including AICC incharge J&K, Rajni Patil. Reliable sources told The Early Times said that before the visit of Rajni Patil to J&K by the end of this week, Congress high-command has decided to hold discussions with all senior leaders of the party including PCC chief. “After sidelining Azad in the party, the high-command has decided to take action against his loyalists in J&K”, sources said and calling Mir to Delhi was an indication that high-command was not ready to tolerate indiscipline by Azad loyalists. As reported earlier by The Early Times, Rajni Patil is reaching J&K on March 20. She will straightway go to Srinagar from Delhi and reach Jammu on March 22. “Mir visit to Delhi before arrival of Rajni Patil in J&K attaches significance because this time high-command will authorize AICC incharge J&K to give a clear message to Azad loyalists”, sources said, adding, “Before leaving for Delhi, Mir held detailed discussions with his supporters in Congress to take stand before the high-command”. As reported earlier, the party has already prepared show-causes which will be served to some loyalists of Azad for boycotting official functions for the last few months. |
