Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 15: Continuing the developmental spree in Jammu West Assembly segment, former state president BJP Sat Sharma along with Corporator Ward 18 Dinesh Gupta started construction works of six lanes at Sarwal area. JMC officials, Mandal President BJP Janipur Raveesh Mengi, a large number of local residents and political activists of the area were also present on the occasion. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 24.18 lakhs and the funds were allotted to the local Corporator for taking up various developmental works in his ward. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the works have been taken up with the efforts of the Corporator who is always concerned about the welfare of masses residing in his ward. He said that for the first in the history of Jammu and Kashmir such massive development is taking place and he thanked the Central Government working under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and JK Government headed by LG Manoj Sinha for providing assistance to take up the pending works in all spheres of UT. Dinesh Gupta said that the works on these lanes were pending for a long time and now the works have been taken up which will definitely overcome many problems being faced by inhabitants in recent times. Raveesh Mengi said that pace of development in Jammu West under leadership of Former MLA shows that constituency progressed a lot in last six years and has reached to the mark of a Model Constituency, he added. AEE Vijay Gupta, JE BK Raina, Sangeeta Gupta, Karan Sharma, Reetiz Khajuria, Pyare Lal Tickoo, Gian Sharma, Ashok Bhatia, Kishore Kumar, Shankee Singh, Ravi Bindroo, Rajesh Handoo, Romesh, Rajesh Raja Chib and several others were also present. |
