Jammu, Mar `15: GDC Nagrota today organised slogan writing competition on world’s Consumer Rights Day. The theme for this year was “Tackling plastic pollution”.
The program started with welcome speech by Prof. Dinesh Singh Chib of the college.
He welcomed the Principal Prof. Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal and all faculty members. In his speech, he talked about the consumer rights.
Prof Anchal Sharma, GDC Nagrota, the resource person for today’s program threw light on the plastic pollution and the ways to reduce it. A short documentary was also shown to students. It was very informative and students watched with keen interest.
Principal of the College in his speech discussed the consumer rights and hazardous effects of the plastic pollution.
Many students took part in the slogan writing competition and Jyoti kumari, sem IIIrd was declared winner. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Ritu Dewan. |
