Congress opposes privatization of Banks, LIC
3/16/2021 11:13:18 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Mar 16: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has voiced its strong resentment over the privatization moves of the BJP Govt. and shared the concern of the agitating employees of public sector banks, who are on two days strike. Expressing full support to the agitating bank employees protesting against the privation of PS Banks and LIC by the Modi Govt. JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma strongly criticized the Centre Govt. for resorting to such anti-people moves. He said that Modi Govt. is on a spree of privatization of all major sectors and services which has very dangerous consequences for the people and the country. The party said that these moves will hand over the assets and control of the entire services to the private players/big industrialists thus reducing the role and control of Govt. in the delivery to the people, which is totally against the concept of democracy. This would promote capitalism & monopoly and control of rich and capitalists over the economic activities of the country, as a result every common man shall suffer the consequences. The general public must understand the wrong moves of the Modi Govt. and rise against such policies and programmes of the BJP and put pressure on the Govt. to stop privatization of the entire profit earning services in the country lest it will be too late.
He said that slogans of Prime Minister Narinder Modi “Desh Nahin Bikne Doonga, Desh Nahin Jhukney Doonga” was a deception and totally contrary to this is happening as everything worth value and all profitable sectors and services are being sold to the private capitalists, which should open the eyes of ‘Andh Bhakats’ who mislead the people on false slogans and propagandas in favour of BJP and against the Congress party.
He said Congress party always followed on pro-poor and pro-common man economic policies and maintained a balance between the social aspects and economic goals before the country. BJP especially Modiji is following pro-rich and pro-capitalist policies, thus crushing the common man and elimination of poor man.
