| Progress of developmental activities reviewed | | |

Jammu, May 31: Director Horticulture Jammu Ram Savak, convened the meeting of Chief Horticulture Officers of Jammu Division to review the progress of various developmental activities (Physical & Financial) being carried out during the current financial year in Jammu Division.
He asked the officers to submit the detail of physical and financial progress made under different departmental schemes i.e. CAPEX budget / Centrally Sponsored Schemes like MIDH, ATMA, PMDP, PMKSY, RKVY and TBO.
He also reviewed the response regarding the sale of fruit plants and value added products in the facilitation centres across Jammu Division and directed the Chief Horticulture Officers to make them fully functional. He also directed them to gear up for rainy season plantation in sub-tropical areas.
He impressed upon all the officers to make functional at least two FPOs in each district by ending July 2021 and also make efforts to increase the number of units under PMFME.
Director Horticulture further instructed the officers to complete the left over targets under all the schemes and the allotted targets for the year 2021.
Deputy Director Horticulture Jammu, Chief Canning Instructor Jammu, Dy. Director Planning Jammu, Assistant Director Horticulture Jammu and other Officers were also present in the meeting. |
