Jammu, May 31: An online lecture on the topic “Personality Development For Successful Career” was organized by the Career Counselling Cell of Government Degree College, Bishnah under the aegis of Monodarpan initiative and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav of Government of India, on 31st May 2021. Prof.. Ambica Kumari, Assistant Professor in Psychology, P. G. College for Women, Gandhinagar, and Nodal Officer, Career Counselling Cell, HED, J&K, was the key speaker of the session. Prof. Ambica Kumari in her elaborated presentation explained about different characteristics and types of personality. She shared her knowledge and experience regarding personality development skills with the participants and encouraged them to develop a positive personality for their successful career. This online lecture was attended by nearly 100 participants, followed by an interactive session where all the queries of the students were addressed. The online lecture was conducted under the supervision of Principal GDC Bishnah, Dr. Anuradha Pandoh. She expressed her gratitude to the resource person for sharing her valuable ideas about personality development which will definitely help the students to shape their career. Dr. Asha Singh, Coordinator, Career Counselling Cell of the college coordinated the whole event. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. Rashmi Arya, Assistant Professor in English. |
