Kishtwar, May 31: After receiving information from a reliable source regarding illegal smuggling of forest wood, forest authorities rushed to the spot in the Hawal area of Udil range in Kishtwar District. As per the details available with Early Times, range officer Udil and the FPF Kishtwar under the supervision of DFO Kishtwar Vijay Kumar seized 25 pieces of dry deodar of 18.93 Cft of Timber in 97c/U from illegal possession of one identified as Udh Ram s/o Jodh Ram r/o Hawal. The wood was immediately sealed and taken into possession. Legal proceedings have been initiated against smugglers. |
