Early opening of ECHS, daily SRTC bus service at Sunderbani demanded | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 2: Veterans of Sunderbani area demand early opening of ECHS at Sunderbani and daily SRTC bus service from Jammu to Devak via Sunderbani Veterans from Sunderbani and its adjoining areas held an online meeting under the chairmanship of Colonel Yash Paul Sharma (Retd) in which various issues concerning welfare of Ex servicemen and veer naaries were discussed. While addressing the meeting Col Yash Paul said that there is an urgent requirement for opening of ex Servicemen contributary Health Scheme Hospital at Sunderbani as it is central place for the ex servicemen of Nowshera, Kalakot and far flung rural areas of Sunderbani sub districts and even certain areas of Reasi district such as Pouni,Bharakh,Ransoo etc . At present the ex servicemen from the area have to go to Rajouri which is at very long distance about more than 125 kms one way. Most of the areas being Hilly and so remote that there is no road connectivity and the person can't return back home by evening after medical checkup. Madan Lal Narad CPO (Retd) from Indian Navy raised the issue for deployment of SRTC Bus service from Jammu to Devak via Sunderbani to facilitate the government employees those travelling daily up and down specially the employees of medical and education department. The bus may leave from Jammu in the morning and return back in the evening by adjusting the office timing. |
