Udhampur, June 2: Strong winds and rain created havoc in Panchayat Hartyan of Block ghordi in District Udhampur. A house belonging to Romesh Kumar, resident of Nardhan was blown away due to strong wind and rain. The family lives under open sky in a tent, no official visited the spot to take the stock of the damaged family alleged. Romesh Kumar said that on Monday his house roof top blew up due to strong wind and the family has become homeless and live outside. He alleged that from Monday he ran from pillar to post to report the damage but till date no one has come has come to take stock of damage. He demanded early compensation so that he repair his house. |
