Jammu, June 2: Under the guidance of Director Indian Systems of Medicine, Dr. Mohan Singh and supervision of Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu Dr. Vandana Dogra and Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. Aruna Bhatt, a series of public awareness/ cum AYUSH immunity booster medicine distribution camps were organized at Jagti township from 27th May to June 02, 2021. In these camps, Ayurvedic Immunobooster medicines for health promotion and boosting immunity was distributed among the inmates of township. More than 4000 patients availed the free services provide by the Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine. It is notable that these medicine also effectively help in curbing post covid fatigue and weakness. In these activities people were also made aware of COVID appropriate behaviours, early testing and reporting to health care facilities. Medical Team comprising of Dr. Sushma, Dr. Arun Gupta, Dr. Monika Gupta, Dr. Shabana and paramedical staff comprising Reeta, Seema, Sachin and Mohd. Shafi provided services in the camp. In all, 324 beneficiaries were availed the medicines. As per guidelines of AYUSH Ministry people were also made aware about the importance of Yoga in the pandemic and public attending the camp was imparted Yoga Pledge on the occasion that they would incorporate Yoga in their daily routine. |
