Former minister Sat Sharma distributes free ration at Ware House

Jammu, June 2 : Former BJP State President and Former Minister Sh. Sat Sharma (CA) along with Deepak Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu distributed free ration and essential kits to the needy families at Ware House on Wednesday. Before distributing ration, Sh. Sat Sharma visited the War rooms established by the federation to help the needy people of Jammu.
While appreciating the efforts of Ware House Traders, the Sh. Sat Sharma said that whenever there is any crisis, Ware House Traders come forward to help the people. Last year also, Ware House traders helped the people a lot and this time too, Traders Federation has established war rooms to help the needy people, he said.
Deepak Gupta on this occasion informed that the Federation has established “Oxygen War Room'', “Ration War Room” and “Medicine War Room” in the federation office and anyone in need can contact the federation for which several helpline numbers have been released. Gupta said that the lockdown has already disproportionately hurt marginalized communities due to loss of livelihood and lack of food and other basic needs. The Federation took the responsibility to protect the health and well-being of the population in this hour of crisis. Our people are facing an extraordinary challenge and the federation has decided to provide free ration to the poor and vulnerable populations among other things. Gupta said.
“From Ration War Room, we are providing free rations to the needy. We are providing free ration to about 100 people daily since May 20”. He informed.
On this occasion Munish Mahajan, Sr. Vc. President, Abhimanyu Gupta, Vc. President, Sham lal Langer, General Secretary, Vishal Gupta, Secretary, Amit Gupta, Cashier of the Federation along with voluntiers of Ration War Room Sumit Gupta, Nitin Gupta, Atul Mahajan, Ankit Gupta, Prafful, Rahil Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Akash Gupta, Anirudh Mahajan, Ankush Mahajan, Sahil Mahajan, Raghav Gupta, Nihal Gupta, Sumeet Gupta and Sourabh Gupta was also present.
