SKUAST-Jammu campus is ‘COVID-19 free’ campus | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 2: Prof. J. P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu and SKUAST-Kashmir today visited all the Faculties of Chatha Campus and took stock of the various essential and research activities undergoing during COVID time following all SOPs. Prof. Sharma with great satisfaction also shared that SKUAST-Jammu campus is now free of COVID-19 with Zero cases. Some of the positive cases reported earlier were completely turned negative with the interventions of medical team. Prof. Sharma informed that SKUAST-Jammu assures preservation of academic life despite the pandemic. The authorities assure adoption of precautionary measures in the campus by safety of entire fraternity of SKUAST-Jammu. He reiterated that camps organised for Rapid Antigen Test with the help of UT Administration has helped early identification of positive cases in the University and timely provision of quarantine facilities within the campus builds confidence and sense of positivity among the scientists and staff. He acknowledged the support of university as well as state authorities for managing the pandemic period effectively. Prof, Sharma congratulates all the employees of SKUAST-Jammu especially those engaged in essential services for delivering uninterrupted services and support during the tough time. He appreciated the dedication and efforts of teaching fraternity for continuing academic programmes using virtual platform and research activities under projects and students degree programmes. |
