Chairman PH&S Committee, CRPF launches plantation drive | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 3: Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee of JMC Narinder Singh Jamwal has collaborated with CRPF to make Jammu green and pollution free. In a statement issued here on Thursday, N.S Jamwal said that toeing the line suggested by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, he had established collaboration with the vibrant security force viz CRPF, which has its presence in almost all parts of the city and after the execution of this plan the Jammu will surely get the desired results with plants rejuvenating the health of people with fresh air and pollution free atmosphere. Jamwal said that one of the companies of CRPF has already started tree plantation in Ward No. 70 Sainik Colony, Jammu. He also informed about the special aspect of the plantation plan claiming that the sustainability of the plants will also solely be the responsibility of the CRPF personnel. He said that this initiative is one among the many it has taken to ensure that Jammu becomes the best serene city of the country with plants welcoming the guests instead of pollutants in most of the cities like Delhi, Ludhiana, etc. The chairman sanitation committee said that he believes in minimum resources and maximum work and that is the reason that so many revolutionary works have been accomplished in such a short span of time and Jammu has already seen tremendous changes as far as sanitation, cleanliness, serenity and modernization is concerned.
