| Citizen's Forum appeals LG, Union Minister to call back doctors from abroad getting salaries from JK | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 3: Citizen's Forum has appealed to LG. Manoj Sinha and Jitendra Singh MoS in PMO that when it is known that GMC Jammu is working with half of its sanctioned strength of faculty posts and requirement of other disciplines, why the doctors working in foreign countries and getting salaries from J&K UT are either not being shunted out or called back.
2nd wave of covid has effected 10 times more in J&K UT in its deaths and positive cases. Why the concerned authority is unable to recruit senior faculty posts directly of the specialists from all over the country. Sky won't fall if the rules in Medical department are amended and GMC get specialist and qualified faculty posts and doctors for other disciplines.
R K Chadha President Citizen's Forum said we have time and again requested the authorities to employ qualified and specialist doctors , by inviting them from the rest of the country but persons at the helm of affairs are more interested in favouritism rather concern for the huge number of deaths in The UT.
We fail to understand who gave them the authority that taking undue advantage of the emergency situation the GMC has appointed blue eyed boys for the special DRDO covid hospital . Complaints have been lodged by suffering candidates in LG's Grievance Cell but no action. |
