| People of Bhambla Reasi forced to consume contaminated water | | |  Early Times Report
Reasi, June 3: Believe it or not, the lackadaisical attitude of Jal Shakti Department (earlier PHE) has crossed all limits and this is forcing the people of Bhambla Panchayat , ward 1, Block & tehsil Pouni to consume dirty water amidst the risk of dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
The source of water is totally open in a worst condition in the Panchayat Bhambla and the concerned department has failed to cover and clean it.
A local said that the source of water is totally open full of dust, bushes and the dirt enters the source making the water dirty and unfit to consume adding that with no other alternative the poor and innocent villagers are forced to consume the same. When contacted concerned ACD said that he will inform the concerned authority to look into the matter and take necessary action. |
