ADGP Traffic J&K holds interaction session at DPL Jammu

JAMMU, June 5: In continuation with his endeavor to interact with the field formations, T Namgyal, ADGP Traffic J&K, held a interaction sessions of officers/officials of Traffic City Jammu at District Police Lines here today. Dr Koushal Sharma SSP Traffic City Jammu, Pardeep Singh Gouria ASP, SP Hq. Jammu, DySPs Neeraj Paddyar, Shivali Kotwal, Sunil Singh, Usha Kher, Javed Naaz, KD Bhagat, DTIs, SOs and all other officials attended the interaction session. During the session, T. Namgyal stressed upon officers and jawans to adopt people friendly attitude and take effective measures to streamline the flow of traffic in Jammu city as well as its outskirts. He directed officers and jawans to remain firm on implementation of law and to impose fine as per law upon the violators so that the same has a deterrent effect. The participating officers were asked to make optimum use of technology to record public behaviour while challaning as this would go a long way in strengthening transparency in Traffic Police. During the session, the officers/officials came up with their suggestions and shared their views with regard to day-to-day traffic management as well as the challenges/problems/difficulties faced by them in public dealing. The issues with regard to lack of accommodation, basic facilities like traffic booths etc were raised by the jawans during the Interaction Session. ADGP assured of all support from the department. He thanked all the officers /officials for attending the darbar. Further assuring them that all their genuine grievances would be redressed and all the commendable work would be appreciated and rewarded. SSP Traffic City Jammu Dr Koushal Sharma highlighted the grievances and problems faced by Traffic City Jammu. ASP Traffic City Jammu, Pardeep Singh Gouria presented the vote of thanks.
