EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, June 5: The authorized members of Central body of J&K Private Schools Association (PSA) presented a memorandum to Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma and discussed their genuine demands:.
Designated members highlighted their problems which are erupted due to the repeated guidelines/instructions issued by Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction that all schools, Colleges, Technical Education and Skill development institutes shall not require in person attendance of any member of the staff school. They said that in such type of restrictions most of the schools authorities have not opened their offices till date even with limited staff for performing their official work only. It has become worrisome for the school authorities to provide bonafide certificate to the parents for withdrawal of their Children Education Allowance for the financial year 2020-21, information U-DISE for the academic session 2020-21 and above all school authorities are hapless to provide result of class 9th of session 2019-20 for the finalizing the result class 10th session 2020-21 which is demanded by CEO’s/ Secretary JKBOSE within two days.
General Secretary of the Association demanded direction to open the offices of all private schools with limited staff for performing their administrative work only. To provide any information to the department or to compute any data ministerial staff is needed, he added.
Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma gave a patient hearing and said that he will bring all these genuine problems in the notice of administration so that school authorities can allowed to open their offices with limited staff for performing their administrative work only on the pattern which was adopted in last year to open the schools.
