| NCC’s naval wing, GDC, Doda offers its volunteer cadets for national duty to fight COVID-19 | | | Early Times Report
Doda, June 7: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) , Naval Wing , Govt. Degree College , Doda led by NCC Naval Caretaker Officer Zain Batt and GCA Ekta Sharma , instructor in Naval Unit under the overall guidance of Dr. Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi , Principal of the college , has offered a helping hand to civilians in Doda in the country’s fight against Corona virus -2019 ( COVID-19 ) by extending the services of cadets under “Exercise NCC Yogdan” .
Batt issued guidelines for temporary employment of its cadets through Virtual / online mode .
He himself participated in the NCC Yogdan . Under “Exercise NCC Yogdan” the Volunteer Cadets contacted the COVID positive patients in their locality through virtual/ online mode and got the health status of such persons.
The cadets aware them about standard operating procedure (SOP) on preventive measures to contain spread of COVID-19.The volunteer cadets also actively sensitized the contacted COVID positive persons with necessary and appropriate information about COVID-19 through messages , voice calls and video telephony apps like Google Zoom , Meet etc. |
