Pandita appeals Lt.Governor to accommodate left out KP migrant families | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 7: Apni Party State Coordinator of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits of Jammu Province Vinod Pandita appeals Lt. Governor J&K to construct more flats and quarters in a time bound period to accommodate left out Displaced Kashmiri Migrants who are still temporarily living on rental basis in Jammu and other Districts to mitigate their aspirations by easing their financial constraints on this front. In a statement issued today, Pandita said that he has been continuously receiving representations from the prominent community persons of non camp areas of Jammu who allege that there are still large number of migrant families putting up on rent basis, face a lot of financial constraints & are unable to pay usual house rents due to meager monthly relief assistance being given to the migrants . They further said that it has become quite difficult for such migrants living on rents in non camps to maintain their families over all by baring house rents, Medical expenditure and other usual day to day expenses of livelihood on such a meager monthly relief assistance . Pandita fervently appealed Lt. Governor to construct more flats and quarters in a time bound period so that these left out migrants living on rent basis are suitably accommodated to improve their standard of living by easing their financial burden on this front. |
