Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation projects genuine demands of DPC promotion

Jammu, June 7: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation under the leadership of State President Sushil Sudan met with Raghav Langer Divisional Commissioner Jammu today in his office chamber at Bahu Plaza Jammu.
Sudan projected their genuine demands of DPC (promotion) for all categories of health department which has not been done since last four years; as a result, all the health employees are suffering.
There are no of promotional posts lying vacant in many hospitals as a result the system is overburdened in the hospitals. Besides meeting many times to Director Health Services Jammu and also the Financial Commissioner Health & Medical education issuing as directions to the DHS for fixing of the date of DPC vide letter no HD/ISM/121/215-1 dated 30-03-2021.
The Director Health Services Jammu is not paying any attention to this direction issued by the higher authority and genuine demands of health employees, during this pandemic period of Covid -19 the health employees are giving their best 24x7 to fight against this deadly virus but are deprived of their due service.
Further state president hailed the decisions of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, to give the incentive to health employees and projected his demand in front of Divisional Commissioner Jammu that this incentive should given to all the categories of health employees such as safaiwalla to doctors because all employees are working with the Covid related program since 2 yrs.
And also hailed the decision to extend of services of doctors and demanded that this benefit should also be extended to paramedical staff from safaiwalla to doctors (all Categories) because they are also a part of this battle against Covid.
It also demanded to release the insurance money of Rs 50 lakhs to next kins of health employees who lost their life with fighting Covid-19 and are still deprived from the compensation as announced by the government and urged to Divisional Commissioner Jammu to intervene in this matter so that the health employees could get their due services benefit, and fight this Pandemic with fresh energy.
