Jammu, Jun 11: Ramban unit of Dogra Sahayata Kendra today distributed SOP kits containing masks, sanitizer, soaps and pamphlets amongst the people of the far flung areas of Ramban District, for creating awareness amongst the rural population regarding the fight against the COVID19 pandemic.
On the occasion Dharam Chand of the Ramban Unit and Mohd Ashraf (Sarpanch Chanderkot) spoke about the measures being taken by the Health Authorities and also the Dogra Sahayata Kendra, Jammu and its Ramban Unit in the fight against the COVID19 Pandemic.
They made the local people aware of the need to follow lockdown guidelines strictly, wear masks and to wash and sanitize their hands whenever they return home after going outside for some work.
Further in case of symptoms, it was impressed upon them to contact the Health Authorities immediately. They were also informed about the Ambulance service started by the Dogra Sahayata Kendra, Jammu which can be availed within the Jammu Municipal area by the patients who are referred to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment, by contacting the Dogra Sahayata Kendra numbers depicted on the pamphlet put in the SOP kits distributed. In addition, if required, packed food arrangement for the patients and attendants from Ramban District can also be made by the Dogra Sahayata Kendra, Jammu.
On the occasion members of the Ramban Dogra Sahayata Kendra who were also present included Janak Chand, Panch, Ghar Chand ( Ex. Sarpanch Karma), Syed Owais Shah ( Chairman, Team Hamdard, Ramban), Mohit Chand, Shubam Anthal, Fulail Chand, Zakir Hussain ( Dukson), Raj Kumar, Lekh Raj Sharma ( Sawani). Tariq Hafiz ( Panch Neera), Vijay Kumar Sharma ( Maitra Ramban), Arun Singh Raju ( Advocate Ramban) , Kaka Singh Raju and Mushtaq Ahmed ( Panch Ramban).
