| Medicos don’t see patients after 8pm, allege locals | | Healthcare in J&K | |
Loran (Poonch), June 11: Residents of Loran area in Poonch district on Friday alleged that medicos don’t treat the patients after 8pm at Primary Health Centre.
When Early Times reporter visited the spot during night, he found the doors of the PHC closed. “The healthcare system in our area doesn’t function during night. Even if the patient is critical medicos don’t treat him/her,” locals alleged.
They said, “Tall claims of the administration about health care being a priority are confined to papers only. Many people have died on way to hospital as they were not given emergency treatment”
“Here doctors don’t even treat normal patients, treating Covid cases is out of question,” locals added.
