| Kishtwar Police recovers kidnapped girl in two hours, arrests accused | | |

Jammu, June 11: Police have recovered a minor girl within two hours of kidnap and arrested the accused in Kishtwar district of
Jammu and Kashmir police said that on Friday said that a complaint was received yesterday from Bipan Lal of Thatri, presently living in Hatta, Kishtwar stating therein that his daughter had been kidnapped by one Ankush Adwan alongwith unknown person.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections was registered and investigation was initiated.
SSP Kishtwar constituted a special team headed by SHO PS Kishtwar Inspector Abid Bukhari.
Acting swiftly the team was able to recover the kidnapped girl within two hours and arrest the accused person from Shalimar area of Kishtwar.
Arrested persons were identified as Ankush of Narwal, Jammu and Gagandeep Singh of Talab Tillo, Jammu.
After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to the family.
