JKTA calls on newly deputed CEO Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, June 11: A deputation of JK Teachers Association (JKTA) district Udhampur led by its UT President Bhupinder Singh and accompanied by UT Coordinator Sunil Salaria, UT Finance Secretary Sanjeev Guleria and Zonal President Panchari Surinder Khajuria called on new Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur, A K Koul in his office and gave a warm welcome to him. While hailing his adjustment as CEO, UT President JKTA Bhupinder Singh said that the JKTA is hopeful that the district level genuine issues of Teachers fraternity would be redressed at the earliest by the new CEO. While interacting with new CEO Udhampur, UT President Bhupinder Singh highlighted some key factors of teaching community during present era. He said that in the present turbulent times, teachers are not only equipping the children with the light of education but are also rendering their services as Front line workers. Singh also highlighted some issues of teacher fraternity including release of Salary of Teachers fraternity for the month of May, timely disposal of time bound/GP fund cases and also apprised him their helping hand towards the smooth functioning of academic attainments. After giving a patience hearing to the deputation, CEO Udhampur assured full cooperation with teachers for disposal of all district level issues in a proper time bound manner and stressed upon teaching fraternity to explore their talent for the betterment of our future generation. He said teaching is the only major occupation for which we have not developed tools that make an average person capable of competence and performance.
