Jammu, June 14: A meeting of J&K-UT, general body of All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha comprising Distt President/Block President and other prominent personalities of the Sabha was held today at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, Bishnah. Agenda of the meeting was to finalize the arrangements for celebration of this year Kabir Jayanti in J&K-UT, which is falling on 24-06-2021; to review the progress of under construction Kabir Bhawan’s in Jammu region and role of All J&k Sadguru Kabir Sabha during the second phase of Covid-19.
F C Bhagat, President of the Sabha welcomed the participants and put forth the agenda for deliberations and after through discussion, it was unanimously decided that this year Kabir Jayanti function shall not be celebrated due to surge of Covid-19. However Jayanti functions will be held at J&K-UT, H.Q Bishnah and at Distt/Block HQ as ceremonial one keeping in view the SOP’s imposed by the administration to curb spreading the Covid effects amongst the public.
Prominent personalities of the sabha who gave their view points on the occasion were G.R Bhagat, , Garu Ram Bhagat ex-MLA, Member DDC, Manhor Lal, General secretary, Tirth Ram Distt President Kabir Sabha district Samba, Dr Gurdass Bhagat chairman, litigation committee, R K Bhagat Distt President Kathua, Buti Ram Bhagat ex Distt President, Bodh Raj XEn, Ashwani Kumar Block President, Diya Ram, Chaman Lal Chaman Vice President, Bachan Lal ex councillor and Subash Bhagat. |
