FFMA pay tributes to Galwan Valley martyrs

JAMMU, June 16: Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) today paid tributes to the Indian soldiers including a Colonel Santosh Babu who sacrificed their lives in Galwan Valley in Ladakh on June 15 & 16 and expressed full support and solidarity with the brave armed forces of the Country.
FFMA members assembled at Dogra Shaurya Sthal, Ampbhalla, under the chairmanship of Ved Gandotra, Chairman of the Association and paid floral tributes to the martyrs by placing flowers amidst raising Shaheed Jawan Amar Rahen, Bharat Mata Ki Jai and other patriotic slogans.
Speaking on the occasion, Ved Gandotra appealed to every citizen and especially to the politicians for boosting the morale of Indian Army and to withstand with them always.
"Their valour and sacrifice will never be forgotten. They served the nation with utmost dedication and worked tirelessly to protect our citizens," Gandotra said. Vice Chairman of the Association, Rajiv Mahajan said that the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers who were martyred in clashes with the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) will not be forgotten.
"The loss of soldiers in Galwan is deeply disturbing and painful. Our soldiers displayed exemplary courage and valour in the line of duty and sacrificed their lives in the highest traditions of the Indian Army," Rajiv Mahajan said. He further added, "The Nation will never forget their bravery and sacrifice. My heart goes out to the families of the fallen soldiers. The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them in this difficult hour. We are proud of the bravery and courage of India's brave-hearts."
Others who paid tributes to martyred soldiers include S.S Balwal, President, R.C Puri (Former President), Karnail Chand (General Secretary), Pritam Sharma, Brij Mehra, R.R Raina, JJ Singh, Prof, R.P Sharma, Ravinder Mittal, Gajan Singh Khalsa, Sukhminder Singh Maini, Parbhat Kapahi, Dr. Kaith and others.
