Seminar organized to commemorate Babu Milkhi Ram’s birth anniversary

JAMMU, June 16: Dr Ambedkar Trust, Nagbani Jammu and Dr BR Ambedkar Young Blood Welfare Society Ranjitpur Jammu organized jointly organized a seminar.
Following all the COVID-19 guidelines, the seminar was held at Dr Ambedkar Hall Mera Mandlik, Marh Road Jammu to commemorate the 94th birth anniversary of Babu Milkhi Ram Advocate in which well written out papers were read out by the students.
TR Azad while addressing the gathering said there was a need of spreading the story of Babu Milkhi Ram’s struggles for others along with other local leaders for awakening the society.
He said, he shall continue this work till his last breath as it is a service to humanity.
As a chief guest on the occasion, senior Advocate Pawan Kumar Kundal threw light on the importance of such seminars and promised to the organizers every possible help from him for such activities.
BD Thappa, a singer, recited poem in the praise of Babu Milkhi Ram Advocate. Darshan Thappa also spoke on the social work done by Babu Milkhi Ram till his last breath. Sunita Azad daughter of great hero Babu Milkhi Ram also explained his nature and style of working for the welfare of the society. Other members of Babu Milkhi Ram’s family were also present on the occasion. Vote of thanks was presented by Som Nath Banal, the chief organizer of the seminar. Stage was successfully conducted by Dr Nisha Banal.
