| GDC Thannamandi celebrate world blood donor day | | |

Jammu, Jun 17: The NSS and Red Cross unit of Government Degree College, Thannamandi in continuation with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava organized an online poster making competition to observe World Blood Donor Day.
The theme of the competition was “Safe blood for all and importance of sanitization in COVID-19”. The programme was organized under the patronship of Dr. Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the college. Dr. Nahim un Nisa, programme officer NSS unit was the organizer and Prof. Raheela Mushtaq was the event coordinator E-certificates were given to appreciate the efforts of all the participants.
It is pertinent to mention here that Touqeer Manhas, Asia Malik, Adil & Rouf Khan and Mobeen Ali Shah, were adjudged First, second and third respectively. Dr. Qazi, encouraged the students to actively participate in such activities of noble cause to serve humanity. He also congratulated the organizers for the success of the event.
