SCC, YfP grieved over death of Manmohan Gupta | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 17: The senior citizens council (SCC) and youth for peace (YfP) expressed shock over the death of its advisor, Manmohan Gupta who breathed his last today at Ludhiana Hospital. The SCC and YfP organization in a statement said that his death has left the whole organization pained as he was the role model in our team and used to guide us in all crucial situations for maintaining peace, strengthening , brotherhood and communal harmony. He was master of his field and extremely humble person the statement further added. The president of SSC A.M. Bichoo while reminding his valuable contribution during College and District agitation highlighted the contributions of Gupta in enforcing the brotherhood for which he shall always be remembered. Being associated with politics Gupta remained always at fore front to help common people and has also contested the assembly Election. He was also a best poet known as Qaiser Kishtwari having a good name and fame in literary field too. He all of a sudden disassociated himself to a great extent from politics and started living a simple life and a business in the form of a typest shop. By virtue of his ability and experience in a very short period he was given the highest status and was placed as Advisor J&K SCC. He devoted his valuable time/services in promoting and building a bridge of understanding between different communities and within the communities. A two minute silence was observed in a virtual condolence meeting with a pray for peace to departed soul and tolerance to bereaved family members as this great man a prominent & known figure of Kishtwar is now more but his sweet memories will always remain. |
