Jiyo Aur Jeene Do launches awareness campaign
6/27/2021 11:24:16 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, June 27: Today a campaign was launched by NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do under Presidentship of Tariq Shah and the members with the aim of creating awareness about COVID 19 in the city. Giving information on this occasion, the President Tariq Shah, said that "It is a matter of great pleasure that the city has come under green zone due to the decrease in COVID cases in Udhampur. But this doesn't mean that we absolutely neglect the guidelines issued by administration because taking any kind of negligence would invite CORONA again. The efforts of District Administration, Honorable DDC Madam and Corona Warriors are highly commendable, due to which we have been able to come to the Green Zone.
Any kind of negligence will thwart the efforts of all those people. If we stop taking precautions we would be inviting the third wave of COVID. Already cases for the new Delta variant are coming. Today in "Mann Ki Baat" by the Prime Minister, a message was given to the people that Corona is not over yet, but it is still there in different form so it is very important to take precautions.
The NGO made people aware to continue taking precautions and masks are being distributed in many areas of the city like Gol Market, Town Hall area and other.
People are being encouraged to use sanitizers and avoid being a part of the crowd as much as possible. People should get their vaccination done but in any case do not stop following the COVID appropriate behaviour. The war against Corona is still going on and we have to try to defeat it in the same way as every soldier of the country is standing against the enemy on the border.
