| International webinar on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji organised Jointly by GDC Poonch & GDC Surankote | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch , June 27: An International webinar on the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was organised jointly by Govt. Degree College Poonch and Govt. Degree College Surankote.
The objective of the webinar was to highlight the teachings of 9th Guru of Sikhism and to follow in practical life. A galaxy of academicians, scholars all over the country and from United States participated.
Dr. Jasbir Singh, Principal Govt. Degree College Surankote gave an introductory speech about the Webinar. Prof. Syed Mussarraf Hussain Shah, Principal Govt. Degree College Poonch and President Islamic foundation for Peace and Communal harmony (IFPCH) formally welcomed all the participants and also delivered an extensive talk on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Narinder Singh Pradhan, President Gurdwara Parbandak Committee, Poonch highlighted the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur JI. Prof. Sukhwinder Singh from University of Punjab delivered an exorbitant presentation on 9th Guru of Sikhism. Gyani Ranjit Singh, Head Granthi, Bangala Sahib New Delhi and Bahi Sahib Singh Ji Shahbad Markanda wale beautifully explored the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Amitoj Kaur from United States and a recipient of Award of Excellence in Academics from former president Donald Trump highlighted the life and sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji for religious freedom. She remarked Guru Tegh bahadur Ji as a saviour of humanity.
Prabkirat Kaur, younger sister of Amitoj Kaur also spoke on the occasion. Rytham Nain Kaur, daughter of Dr. Jasbir Singh, Principal Govt. Degree College Surankote also highlighted the life and teaching of Guru Tegh Bahdur Ji.
