| Sunderbani XI beat Singh Cricket Club by 1 wicket and level series by in 1-1 | | |  Early Times Report
Akhnoor, June 27: To promote cricket in Akhnoor Sub Division and Rajouri district three match cricket series was started between Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor and Sunderbani XI.
The series is organised by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under supervision of Kr. Sham Singh Langeh (General Secretary JKCA District Jammu). The second match of series was played today at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor.
In the today’s match Singh Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first SCC scored 187/10 in 25.3 overs in which Sunil Benny scored crucial 54 other top contributions are of SCC are Rahul Manni 37, Sahil Mishra 29, Sumit Sharma 29. From Sunderbani XI Ashu got 4 wickets, Rocky got 3, Piyush got 2 and Harshit took 1 wicket.
While chasing the huge total Sunderbani XI chased target in 29.4 overs and scored 189 with 1 wicket remaining. From Sunderbani XI Atul scored 78, Piyush 22, Ashu 18 and Anil 17. From Singh Cricket Club Sumit Sharma and Kr.Sham Singh got 3 wickets each, Sunil bendy got 2 and Rajinder got 1 wicket.
Ashu was declared man of the match for his extraordinary performance with bat and bowl both.
