Friends Cricket Club beats Singh Challenger to enter finals | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 2: In the second semifinal match of 1st Pitamber Lal Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament was played today between Friends Cricket Club and Singh Challenger Cricket Club at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Akhnoor. SCCC won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first SCCC manged to score only 126/10 in 18.3 overs with top contributions of Vinod Magotra 27, Manav Mehta 21, Stephen 18 and Jimmy Mangotra 16 runs. Among FCC Shubham Chib took 4 wickets whereas Sumit, Sahil, Amit, Vipin and Jeshu shared 1 wicket each. Friends Cricket Club chased the target in 13.3 Overs and scored 127 having 5 wickets in hand. Manik Sharma scored 45 important runs for FCC whereas Akarsh Contributed 33 and sourav kumar scores 20. Rajinder Sharma took 2 wickets each whereas Manav, Abhinandan and Vinod took one wicket each from SCCC. Shubham for his great bowling spell was declared man of the match. FCC with this victory have entered finals of the tournament. Vikas Bali and Nikhil were umpires and Dev Bhagel was scorer in the match. This tournament is being organized by Singh Cricket Club under overall supervision of Kr Sham Singh General Secretary JKCA District Jammu. |
