Early Times Report

Rajouri, July 2: Criticizing the casual approach of the employees of the Employment Office Rajouri, the civil societies have demanded stern action against the officials for disrespecting the National Flag.
According to the details available with Early Times, the tri-colour is in shambles and lying half mast at the office building for last many days, but the department has not even taken a note of it. The locals alleged that there have been many such incidents in past also of disrespect to National Flag at Government building.
The tricolour hoisted at Employment office is in bad condition, which is against the rules but there is no one in the office to take note of it so that it might be restored. They said that soldiers are safeguarding the borders by sacrificing their lives but here Government Departments have been showing casual approach to protect the national flag.
It’s in place to mention here that the Government had taken the decision to hoist the national flag on every government building but due to the casual approach of some departments, due respect is not being given to the tricolor. Locals urged the Lieutenant Governor to take note of the issue and take strict action against the erring officials, including their head.
When contacted the in-charge of Employment Office Rajouri, said that he had come to DC Office and was unaware of the matter and asked the journalist to send him picture of the National Flag which is hoisted at his office building.
