Jammu, July 2: The Aam Aadmi Party, Jammu, in a press statement issued here, has expressed great resentment over acute, shortage of water in Ranbir canal at its ends, erratic & irregular power cuts have further compounded the miseries of farmers by interrupting working of water pumps.
Ram Paul Khajuria, AAP- in-charge Bishnah Assembly Constituency, has informed that un-scheduled long power cuts in Bishnah area, leading to non-running of water pumps of the farmers have aggravated hardships of farmers coupled with dry Ranbir Canal channels.
The AAP, Jammu leaders have urged upon the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and other concerned authorities to look into the matter compassionately and personally to mitigate the sufferings of farmers failing which they will be constrained to come on roads and the responsibility of which will solely lie on the shoulders of administration, the release said. |
