UDHAMPUR, July 2: State Bank of India Udhampur Branch today organized a tree plantation drive in collaboration with Forest department at village Sathani of Udhampur to mark the celebration of Bank Day. Additional District Development Commissioner, Kanta Devi was the chief guest, who planted a sapling to inaugurate the drive. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest commended the efforts of the bank by organizing such events for the welfare of the society. She impressed upon the people to plant more trees to make the environment pollution free, which is also the need of the hour keeping in view the situation faced by the country in view of the ongoing pandemic. Among others, LDM Udhampur, Manoj Kumar Choudhary, Chief Manager SBI, C.M Bhat and Director RSETI, Adarsh Saraf besides Officials of the SBI from regional office, Manjeet Singh, Chief Manager (Credit), S.A Badr. Chief Manager (CS), officials of the forest department including range Officer, Mahesh Abrol and Sarpanch of Panchayat Sauthan, Sudarshan Gupta were present on the occasion. |
